Intro to American Government

ReviewS

"Amazing instructor with amazing teaching skill, he made the boring class material interesting. You can learn a lot about American federal government and become knowledgeable about politics in general from this class, even if you are not interested in politics at all."

"I thought Peay did a very good job with presenting a concise but thorough government curriculum. Peay was great at challenging us and asking follow up questions in order to advocate critical thinking."

"One of the best instructors I've had at OU. He made a bland topic interesting and encouraged thinking outside the box. I would recommend this professor for any other student who needs to take American Government."

Reviews - Spring 2018

"I loved this course. It was original, fun, refreshing, and educational. I would recommend this course to anyone. "

"Really original assignments and final projects. I loved that we did audio journals and a podcast. Mr. Peay did a great job of setting up discussion panels which allowed every person in the class to be able to talk and participate in class without feeling put on the spot. These panels also ensured that everybody had to read the materials and stay caught up and active with the class."

"The overall topic of the course was fascinating. The readings and listenings offered proper insight into what we would be covering in the course and expanded my knowledge and thought on the topics. The final project was an interesting take on an end of the year final. I genuinely enjoyed making the projects in this course."

"Periloux Peay made sure students understood readings and made sure that the class was engaged and learning. The whole course was one of the best courses I've ever taken and Periloux Peay was one of the best professors I've ever had."
